Mavenir Chosen By Kyivstar For Enhanced Enterprise Connectivity

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- Mavenir, the cloud-native network infrastructure provider, has been selected by Kyivstar, Ukraine's leading digital operator and part of VEON Group, to deliver enhanced Enterprise fixed and mobile connectivity for the operator’s business-to-business (B2B) customers.

According to a statement, Kyivstar will deploy Mavenir’s advanced, future-proof architecture and full-stack solution, which includes hardware, software, and a containerised platform.

Mavenir Senior Vice President and General Manager, EMEA, Dr Virtyt Koshi said Kyivstar's team is dedicated to providing innovative services and expressed pride in being their preferred partner for this new Enterprise and Business Services capability.

Meanwhile, Kyivstar Chief Information Officer, Andriy Zhukovskyi, emphasised the importance of connectivity in Ukraine.

“Mavenir has demonstrated to us that they have a world-class solution that meets the needs of our Enterprise customers, showcasing the ability to deliver on time – despite the extremely challenging environment in which we are working,” he added.

The FMC solution includes Converged Telephony Application Server (CTAS), Media Resource Function (MRF), Element Management System and Analytics Platform providing enterprise services.

Mavenir also brings in-depth knowledge of the Ukrainian market and an ability to deliver the solution with short timelines. Defne, a specialist in innovative voice solutions for enterprises, will collaborate with Mavenir on niche business services, while Mavenir will oversee the entire solution.

On the other hand, Kyivstar remains committed to investing in world-class connectivity infrastructure, despite challenging regional conditions.
