NationGate's Shares Rise 27 Sen In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) -- NationGate Holdings Bhd’s shares jumped by 20.7 per cent in the early trading session today, rebounding from its sharp fall yesterday which prompted Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd to issue an unusual market activity query to the company.

At 5 pm yesterday, the counter plunged by 55 sen to RM1.30, with 48.85 million shares transacted.

Trading in NationGate-related securities was then halted for an hour this morning, from 9 am to 10 am. Within 30 minutes of resumption, its share price surged 27 sen to RM1.57, with 77.45 million shares traded.

NationGate is a leading provider of electronics manufacturing services, specialising in cutting-edge solutions since 2010.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, NationGate denied any involvement in an ongoing fraud case in Singapore linked to the alleged movement of Nvidia chips.

The company clarified that the case involves an Nvidia Cloud Partner (NCP) with no connection to the group.

“We remain committed to transparency and compliance with all relevant regulations and will continue to monitor the situation closely,” it said
