FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today in line with the underlying cash market.

The spot-month March 2025 contract fell 16.5 points to 1,532.0, April was 17.0 points lower at 1,534.5, while June 2025 and September 2025 lost 16.0 points each to 1,537.0 and 1,524.0, respectively. 

Turnover shrank to 6,574 lots from 6,841 lots on Monday, while open interest edged down to 39,176 contracts from 39,368 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 15.73 points or 1.0 per cent to 1,555.66 from yesterday’s close of 1,571.39.
