KAJANG, March 10 (Bernama) -- MTD Properties continues to strengthen its brand in the property industry with the launch of five new projects in Selangor and Melaka this year, which will benefit the community and boost local economic growth.

Its chief operating officer Nik Fauzan Nik Faizul said the group is committed to embarking on five new projects compared to only two projects last year due to high demand from customers.

“Last year, we launched Phase 8 (project) in Kajang, which is a commercial project of 70 units, and this project achieved great success when all the units were sold out in a very short time.

“Customers see MTD Properties as a developer who is always committed. Through commercial (projects) on the development land, we further improve the economy of the local residents,” he told Bernama during its “Kasih Ramadan” programme held here.

Also present was MTD group chief executive officer Reime Rizal Abdul Aziz.

Nik Fauzan said that since its establishment, MTD Properties has ensured that every development area it develops has continuous added value to attract customers.

He said that the firm will also launch a project for Phase 10 of Taman Sutera Kajang, which will combine “Rumah Selangorku” (RSKU) project units and open units.

“With this, MTD Properties hopes to help the people obtain affordable homes without sacrificing convenience and quality.

“Our project is not only focused on profit but also contributes to the people by providing high-quality and affordable homes,” he said.

Nik Fauzan said the company places great emphasis on the quality of its construction, with each project using high-quality materials to achieve the specified standards.

Regarding the “Kasih Ramadan” programme, Reime Rizal said it is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative by the company for the community.

“We want to give back to the community. RSKU is also one of the CSRs from MTD Properties,” he said.

At the event, MTD Properties donated RM5,000 to the Taman Sutera Mosque, Kajang and handed over “duit raya” contribution to children.
