FBM KLCI Futures End Higher, Tracking Cash Market Gains

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.  

The contract for March 2025 rose 29 points to 1,504.5, April 2025 and June 2025 added 28.5 points each to 1,506.5 and 1,508.0, respectively, while September 2025 increased 29 points to 1,496.0.

Turnover edged down to 11,227 lots from 13,233 on Wednesday, while open interest narrowed to 50,510 contracts from 52,166 previously.  

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI jumped 25.20 points to 1,510.03 from Wednesday’s close of 1,484.83.
