FBM KLCI Futures End Higher In Line With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, April 2 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher, in line with the underlying cash market.  

April 2025 gained 3.0 points to 1,525.0, May 2025 jumped 11.0 points to 1,523.0, June 2025 went up 10.5 points to 1,516.5, while September 2025 advanced 12.5 points to 1,506.0. 

Turnover dwindled to 9,875 lots from 18,475 lots on Friday, while open interest dipped to 47,782 contracts from 59,411 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) advanced 12.87 points or 0.85 per cent to the day’s high of 1,526.52 from Friday’s close of 1,513.65.

The market was closed on March 31 and April 1 for the Hari Raya public holidays
