Giesecke+Devrient Posts Record 3.132 Bln Euros Revenue In 2024, Maintains Growth Trajectory

KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 (Bernama) -- Giesecke+Devrient (G+D), a SecurityTech company, reported a record-breaking 3.132 billion euros in revenue for the 2024 fiscal year, surpassing its strong performance in 2023 despite challenging economic conditions. (1 Euro = RM4.85)

This represents a five per cent organic growth compared to the previous year or six per cent growth at constant exchange rates. In 2023, G+D’s revenue had reached nearly three billion euros for the first time, according to a statement.

G+D Chairman of the Management Board and Group Chief Executive Officer, Ralf Wintergerst emphasised the positive results of the company’s strategic transformation and highlighted its continued investments in the rapidly growing SecurityTech sector.

The company’s earnings also set a new high, with adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rising by six per cent to 187 million euros. Free cash flow improved to over 200 million euros, and the company’s order intake hit a record of 3.3 billion euros, signalling continued growth ahead.

G+D’s diversified portfolio, which includes Digital Security, Financial Platforms, and Currency Technology, was a key driver of this success. By integrating digital and physical solutions, G+D is building trust and actively shaping the digital transformation of society.

Looking forward, G+D plans to continue enhancing profitability, optimising processes, and making strategic investments in its information technology infrastructure and portfolio. With its three robust segments and resilient portfolio, the company is confident about sustaining growth in the 2025 fiscal year.
