Khazanah Cancels Aidilfitri Open House Following Passing Of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) — Khazanah Nasional Bhd has cancelled its Hari Raya Open House 2025 as a mark of respect following the passing of Malaysia’s fifth prime minister and former Khazanah chairman, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

In a notice issued today, the government-linked investment company said the open house, which was scheduled to be held today at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, has been called off.

“As the nation mourns the passing of Tun Abdullah, we regret to inform you that the Khazanah Hari Raya Open House 2025 is cancelled.

“Our prayers for Tun Abdullah and our deepest condolences to his family,” it said.

Abdullah, who served as prime minister from 2003 to 2009, breathed his last at the National Heart Institute (IJN) at 7.10 pm yesterday at the age of 85.
