FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today in line with the cash market.

April 2025 fell 10.5 points to 1,464.5, May 2025 slid 10.0 points to 1,462.5, June 2025 slipped 11.0 points to 1,458.5, and September 2025 dropped 11.5 points to 1,443.5.

Turnover rose to 8,608 lots from 7,437 lots yesterday, and open interest advanced to 47,068 contracts against 44,387 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI declined 9.51 points to 1,476.92 from Tuesday’s close of 1,486.43.
