Bina Puri Appoints Marcus Goh As GCEO, Mohd Kamarudin As Non-executive Director

KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) -- Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has appointed Marcus Goh Kee Lun as executive director cum group chief executive officer (GCEO) and Datuk Seri Mohd Kamarudin Md Din as an independent non-executive director.

In a statement, the construction company said the appointments were made following the retirement of Tan Sri Tee Hock Seng as the deputy executive chairman, while Dr Tony Tan Cheng Kiat has retired as its founder director.

“Goh brought nearly two decades of experience in the capital market and corporate environment. His earlier career saw close to 10 years with big four accounting firms, during which he played key roles in the initial public offering (IPO) projects of major Fortune 500 Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOE).

“Meanwhile, Mohd Kamarudin previously held three key leadership roles within the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM). He brings over 30 years of experience in law enforcement and is well-regarded for his unwavering commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality,” it said.

The group also said group managing director cum GCEO Kevin Chai Chan Tong succeeds Tan Sri Tee in his leadership role while continuing to serve as group managing director.

Bina Puri group managing director Kevin Chai Chan Tong said the appointment of two new board members will enable the group to strategically leverage its deep expertise in financial markets and corporate governance, strengthening its ability to address operational challenges and enhance both capital funding accessibility and oversight.

“This development reinforces the Group’s focus on sustainable growth and long-term value creation for stakeholders,” he said.
