Widad Active In Early Trade After RM31.3 Mln Nilai Land Purchase

KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 (Bernama) -- Widad Group Bhd’s shares were among the most actively traded on Bursa Malaysia in early trade today, following news of its latest land acquisition in Negeri Sembilan.

Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Widad Development (Nilai) Sdn Bhd, has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Guper Bonded Warehouse Sdn Bhd to acquire four adjacent freehold parcels of industrial land worth RM31.30 million in Bandar Nilai Utama.

It plans to convert the 4.21 hectares for the development of commercial properties.

At 10.03 am, the construction company added half-a-sen to 3.5 sen, with 21.91 million shares changing hands.
