FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher in line with the better cash market performance.

May 2025 rose 10 points to 1,545.0, June 2025 increased 13 points to 1,543.0, September 2025 gained 13.5 points to 1,526.5, and December 2025 added 11 points to 1,536.50.

Turnover dropped to 4,344 lots from 5,790 lots on Tuesday, while open interest slid to 36,250 contracts from 38,699 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI climbed 13.1 points, 0.85 per cent, to 1,549.9 from yesterday’s close of 1,536.8.
