FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher in line with the better cash market performance.

May 2025 increased 28.0 points to 1,573.0, June 2025 rose 29.5 points to 1,572.5, September 2025 advanced 29.0 points to 1,556.0 and December 2025 was 28.5 points firmer at 1,565.0.

Turnover improved to 9,618 lots from 4,302 lots on Friday, while open interest widened to 42,519 contracts from 36,502 previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) surged 2.32 per cent, or 35.89 points, to 1,582.39 from Friday’s close of 1,546.50.
