FBM KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives trended easier in early trade on Thursday.

At 9.19 am, spot month May 2025 contract was down by two points to 1,579.0, June 2025 fell 0.5 of-a-point to 1,580.0, September 2025 eased one point to 1,564.0 and December 2025 slipped 4.5 points to 1,571.5.

Turnover amounted to 1,645 lots, with open interest at 36,264 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI decreased by 2.21 points after 40 minutes of trading to 1,581.20 from Wednesday’s close of 1,583.51.
