FBM KLCI Futures Mostly Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives trended mostly firmer in early trade on Friday.

At 9.17 am, spot month May 2025 contract was unchanged at 1,574.5, June 2025 rose three points to 1,576.5, September 2025 increased by 7.5 points to 1,566.0 and December 2025 added 5.5 points to 1,573.0.

Turnover amounted to 1,260 lots, with open interest at 35,044 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI gained 6.18 points to 1,579.20 after 35 minutes of trading, compared to Thursday’s close of 1,573.02.
