FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.

At the close, May 2025 fell 2.5 points to 1,545.0, June 2025 and September 2025 declined 2.0 points to 1,544.5 and 1,530.0, respectively, while December 2024 eased 4.0 points to 1,536.0. 

Turnover reduced to 4,207 lots from 4,936 lots on Tuesday, while open interest was also lower at 38,705 contracts from 39,281 contracts yesterday. 

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) fell 4.07 points, or 0.26 per cent, to 1,544.80 from Tuesday’s close of 1,548.87.
