Master Tec Initiates Listing Transfer To Main Market Of Bursa Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, May 30 (Bernama) -- Master Tec Group Bhd has proposed to transfer its listing to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia in less than two years after the company's debut on the ACE Market in January 2024.

The proposal, which includes relevant amendments to the company’s constitution, underscores the company’s robust financial performance, operational maturity and growing investor confidence.

Executive director Tee Kok Hwa said the move to the Main Market marks the next chapter of its corporate journey, aligning with long-term strategy to enhance visibility, broaden investor base and access more robust capital markets.

“We believe this transfer will not only elevate our corporate profile and investor reach, especially among institutional investors, but also enhance confidence among our customers, suppliers, employees and stakeholders.

“It positions us well to capitalise on Malaysia’s growing investments in energy transition, infrastructure modernisation, and industrial development,” he said in a statement today.

Based on the audited financial results for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2024 (FY2024), the group recorded a consolidated profit after tax and minority interests (PATAMI) attributable to owners of the company of RM27.01 million.

Over the last three financial years, from FY2022 to FY2024, the company achieved an aggregate adjusted PATAMI of RM73.3 million, surpassing the minimum RM20 million threshold required under the profit test of the Securities Commission Malaysia’s equity guidelines.
