FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today, in tandem with the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, the spot month June 2025 contract eased 12 points to 1,506.50, July 2025 dropped 13 points to 1,504.50, September 2025 slipped 12.5 points to 1,487.50, and December 2025 slid 11 points to 1,494.50.

Turnover widened to 6,828 lots from 4,814 lots on Thursday, while open interest grew to 37,381 contracts versus 35,625 contracts yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI was down 0.08 per cent, or 1.33 points, to 1,516.79 from Thursday’s close of 1,518.12.
