EPF Acquires 5.02 Pct Stake In 99 Speed Mart

KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) – The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has emerged as a substantial shareholder in 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd after acquiring 421.79 million shares or a 5.02 per cent direct stake in the convenience store operator.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the EPF said the shares were acquired on June 4 and are held under Citigroup Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn Bhd.
