FBM KLCI Futures End Easier

KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed easier today, despite the positive underlying cash market performance.

At the close, spot month June 2025 erased four points to 1,518.0, July 2025 was 3.5 points lower at 1,516.5, September 2025 shed 4.5 points to 1,498.0 and December 2025 was 5.5 points lower at 1,502.5.

Turnover slipped to 3,315 lots from 5,006 lots on Wednesday, while open interest slipped to 38,142 contracts from 39,630 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 2.78 points to 1,526.62 from Wednesday’s close of 1,523.84.
