FBM KLCI Futures End Lower
KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today, despite the positive underlying cash market performance.
At the close, spot month June 2025 erased three points to 1,512.0, July 2025 and September 2025 shed six points to 1,510.5 and 1,492.0, respectively, and December 2025 was five points lower at 1,497.5.
Turnover improved to 4,889 lots from 3,315 lots on Thursday, while open interest expanded to 40,297 contracts from 38,142 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 8.51 points, or 0.56 per cent, to 1,518.11 from Thursday’s close of 1,526.62.
