FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower In Line With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today, tracking the easier underlying cash market performance.

At the close, June 2025 erased 15.5 points to 1,495.50.0 and July 2025 dropped 16.5 points to 1,491.0, while September 2025 and December 2025 fell 16.0 points each to 1,474.0 and 1,478.0, respectively.

Turnover increased to 6,156 lots from 4,410 lots on Wednesday, while open interest rose to 41,883 contracts from 39,977 yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI was 0.69 per cent, or 10.51 points, lower at 1,501.44 compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,511.95.
