KLCI Futures Open Firmer

KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Wednesday, tracking gains in the cash market.

At 9.17 am, June 2025 and July 2025 contracts rose 9.5 points each to 1,525 and 1,522, respectively, while September 2025 added 8.5 points to 1,503.50 and December 2025 gained 10.5 points to 1,509.

Turnover stood at 15,962 lots, with open interest at 60,407 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI climbed 0.55 per cent, or 8.39 points, to 1,522.68 after 35 minutes of trading, compared to Tuesday’s close of 1,514.29.
