FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the underlying cash market’s performance.

At the close, the spot month July 2025 contract slipped 1.0 point to 1,546.5, August 2025 and September 2025 declined 2.0 points each to 1,543.5 and 1,524.5, respectively, while December 2025 shed 5.0 points to 1,524.0.

Turnover narrowed to 7,039 lots from 7,517 on Wednesday, while open interest slipped to 39,173 contracts from 40,436 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped by 1.22 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 1,548.99 from Wednesday’s close of 1,550.21
