FBM KLCI Futures Opens Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Friday, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

At 9.26 am, the July 2025 contract rose 5.0 points to 1,551.50, August 2025 and September 2025 added 5.5 points each to 1,549.0 and 1,530.0, respectively, and December 2025 went up 4.0 points to 1,528.0.

Turnover stood at 506 lots, with open interest at 33,953 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI gained 0.22 of a point to 1,549.21 after 33 minutes of trading from Thursday’s close of 1,548.99.
