FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed easier on Monday, in tandem with the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, the July 2025 and August 2025 contracts were 2.5 points easier at 1,525.0 and 1,522.0, respectively.

The September 2025 contract was unchanged at 1,504.0, and December 2025 erased 3.0 points at 1,505.0.

Turnover declined to 3,393 lots from last Friday’s 4,782 lots, while open interest decreased to 38,075 contracts from 38,963 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) erased 1.27 points to 1,524.59 from last Friday’s close of 1,525.86.
