FBM KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher today.

At 9.25 am, the spot month August 2025 contract increased 10.0 points to 1,593.0, and September 2025 went up 8.50 points to 1,571.50, while December 2025 and March 2026 added 7.0 points each to 1,570.50 and 1,553.5, respectively.

Turnover stood at 977 lots, with open interest at 39,593 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI improved 3.63 points to 1,588.59 after 25 minutes of trading, compared with yesterday’s close of 1,584.96.
