KLCI Futures Lower At Open

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Friday.

At 9.33 am, the spot month August 2025 contract dipped 5.5 points to 1,583.0, while September 2025 shed 5.0 points to 1,557.0, December 2025 fell 7.5 points to 1,550.0, and March 2026 trimmed sux points to 1,533.

Turnover was 2,715 lots, with open interest at 53,138 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI went down 6.09 points to 1,580.98 after 37 minutes of trading, against Thursday’s close of 1,587.07.
