Asteel Group Wins RM10.1 Mln Contract From EC Bina To Install Factory Roof
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 (Bernama) -- Asteel Group Bhd’s 80.36 per cent subsidiary, Asteel Synergy Sdn Bhd, has received a letter of award worth RM10.1 million from EC Bina Sdn Bhd for the supply, delivery and installation of roof finishing for a factory building in Selangor.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, the group said the scope of works includes associated works for the construction of the factory.
“The project involves the supply, delivery, installation, completion, testing and commissioning of roof finishing and its associated works for 157 units of factory buildings at Mukim Tanjung Duabelas, Daerah Kuala Langat, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
“The works will be carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions of the main construction agreement, tender documents, specifications, drawings, bills of quantities and the letter of award, with a construction period of eight months starting from Aug 17, 2025,” it said.
Asteel Group noted that the project will enhance the group’s project reference and provide a competitive advantage in securing future construction projects.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, the project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings and earnings per share, it added.
