FBM KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Thursday.

At 9.30 am, the September 2025 contract eased 2.5 points to 1,604.5, October 2025 slipped three points to 1,600.5, December 2025 declined 4.5 points to 1,593.5, and March 2026 shed four points to 1,574.0.

Turnover stood at 1,978 lots, with open interest at 41,776 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI fell 9.07 points to 1,602.63 after 45 minutes of trading, compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,611.70.
