FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Wednesday.

At the close, new spot month November 2025 stood at 1,622, October 2025 rose 10.5 points to 1,623.50, December 2025 increased 12.5 points to 1,618.50, and March 2026 added 9.0 points to 1,595.50.

Turnover slipped to 7,201 lots from 10,175 on Tuesday, while open interest narrowed to 43,511 contracts from 59,230 yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 8.99 points, or 0.55 per cent, to 1,620.87, from Tuesday’s close of 1,611.88.
