Poppulo First In Industry To Earn ISO Certification For Responsible AI

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- Poppulo, a global provider of employee communications and digital signage solutions, has obtained the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification, the world’s first international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS).

In a statement, the company said it is the only player in its category to achieve the certification, which serves as a benchmark for responsible AI governance.

The certification, effective immediately, provides third-party validation of its governance, risk management and accountability practices, following a rigorous audit conducted by an accredited body.

The achievement assures enterprises adopting agentic AI at speed and scale that the company’s platforms are built on resilient systems and responsible practices.

“As enterprises grow more discerning about their technology partners, they are asking tough questions: How do you manage AI risk? What is your governance framework? Can you prove it? This certification allows us to answer those questions with authority,” said Poppulo chief executive officer, Ruth Fornell.

Meanwhile, its chief information security officer, Chris Payne said maintaining compliance requires continuous improvement, regular audits and vigilance to address new governance challenges, ensuring responsible and effective engagement across all channels.

In parallel with the certification, Poppulo is accelerating the rollout of its new agentic AI tools, including Analyze, which delivers personalised insights and recommendations, and Create, which enables rapid content generation at scale.

Poppulo has also introduced new capabilities within its communications platform, such as AI-powered email translation and a personal AI assistant to provide instant access to performance metrics, campaign strategies and best practices.

These innovations enable communications teams to make faster, data-informed decisions, streamline workflows and deliver more relevant messaging to global audiences.

With the certification, Poppulo positions itself as a trusted leader in delivering safe, ethical and enterprise-ready AI for employee communications and digital signage.
