FBM KLCI Futures End Higher, Tracking Gains In Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Thursday, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

At the close, the October 2025 contract rose 5.5 points to 1,629.0, the November 2025 contract gained 6.0 points to 1,629.50, December 2025 contract was 4.5 points higher at 1,626.50, and March 2026 contract climbed 5.0 points to 1,608.0.

Turnover decreased to 5,753 lots from 5,881 on Wednesday, while open interest weakened to 46,959 contracts from 47,961 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 2.17 points to 1,629.67 from Wednesday’s close of 1,627.50.
