FBM KLCI Futures End Lower, Tracking Weaker Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Friday, tracking the weaker underlying cash market.

At the close, the October 2025 and November 2025 contracts fell 17.0 points each to 1,612.0 and 1,612.50, respectively.

December 2025 contract slipped 15.5 points to 1,611.0, while the March 2026 contract dipped 15.0 points to 1,593.0.

Turnover increased to 8,876 lots from 5,753 on Thursday, while open interest strengthened to 50,199 contracts from 46,959 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 7.42 points, or 0.46 per cent, to 1,622.25 from Thursday’s close of 1,629.67.
