Eco Expo Asia 2025 To Spotlight Green Innovations For Carbon Neutrality

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- The 20th edition of Eco Expo Asia, themed “Green Innovations for Carbon Neutrality”, will be held from Oct 28 to 31 at AsiaWorld-Expo, featuring more than 300 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the event will focus on three main areas—Circular Economy and Waste Management, Green and Smart Mobility, and ESG-related Services—offering a wide range of environmental protection solutions and sustainable business opportunities.

HKTDC Deputy Executive Director, Jenny Koo said the expo serves as a vital business platform for environmental, social and governance (ESG) and sustainable solutions.

“As a business platform for ESG and sustainable solutions, the expo will showcase the latest products and technologies in new energy, green living and environmental protection,” she said in a statement.

Koo said strong participation is expected from government suppliers from the Chinese Mainland, as well as from ASEAN and Belt and Road countries, creating opportunities for global industries to tap into the expanding green economy.

A highlight of the event will be the Eco Asia Conference, which gathers international officials and experts to exchange insights on key environmental challenges.

Other concurrent events include the FHKI Q-Mark Low Carbon Restaurant Award 2025, the sixth Hydrogen Economy Forum, and the Experience Sharing Forum.

The final day of the expo, on Oct 31, will be designated as Public Day, with free admission for visitors to attend seminars and participate in hands-on green workshops.

Since its inception, Eco Expo Asia has been a regional hub for fostering innovation, collaboration and policy dialogue in the green and low-carbon sectors.
