FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 17 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower, tracking the weaker underlying cash market.

At the close, the October 2025 contract shed 8.5 points to 1,603.5, and November 2025 fell by eight points to 1,603.5. The December 2025 and March 2026 contracts receded nine points to 1,602.0 and 1,585.0, respectively.

Turnover rose to 6,231 lots from 5,775 lots on Thursday, while open interest expanded to 46,471 contracts from 45,516 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 5.11 points, or 0.32 per cent, to 1,607.18 from Thursday’s close of 1,612.29.
