YTL Construction Bags National Occupational Safety & Health Excellence Award 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18 (Bernama) -- YTL Construction has received the National Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Award 2025 in the Construction (Building Operations) category from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), in recognition of the company’s continuous commitment to ensuring a safe work culture at every construction site.

In a statement, YTL Construction executive director Yeoh Keong Yuan said that this commitment aligns with the company’s principle of “Building the Right Thing,” which emphasises construction practices that are safe, responsible, and sustainable.

He said the award reflects the persistent efforts of the company’s entire staff in making occupational safety and health a top priority in every project undertaken.

Meanwhile, DOSH, in a separate statement, informed that the award was presented during the National Occupational Safety and Health Awards 2024 ceremony held last night.

The award ceremony, organised by the Ministry of Human Resources through the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health and DOSH, was officiated by Deputy Minister of Human Resources Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad.

This government initiative aims to provide the highest recognition to individuals and employers who demonstrate outstanding involvement and achievement in implementing Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems in the workplace.

A total of 28 winners were honoured at the ceremony in recognition of their organisational achievements.
