UEM Edgenta Appoints Shaiful Subhan As Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 (Bernama) -- UEM Edgenta Bhd has appointed Shaiful Subhan as its managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) effective Nov 1, 2025.

UEM Edgenta, in a statement, said that Shaiful has been serving as officer-in-charge during the transition period since the departure of former MD and CEO Syahrunizam Samsudin on Aug 31, 2025.

“Shaiful Subhan joined the company in January 2023 as the head of healthcare solutions and managing director of Edgenta Mediserve Sdn Bhd.

“In this role, he was instrumental in overseeing the company’s strategic direction, driving operational excellence, and growing its business within Malaysia’s healthcare support industry,” it said.

The company said Shaiful has over 25 years of leadership experience across multiple sectors, including telecommunications, broadcasting and information technology, and previously served as IRIS Corporation Bhd’s group chief executive officer from 2017 to 2022.

“The board of directors is confident that Shaiful’s deep industry knowledge, proven leadership, and vision will significantly strengthen UEM Edgenta’s position as a leading regional player in asset management and infrastructure solutions,” it added.
