At the close, the October 2025 contract shaved 3.5 points to 1,614.0, November 2025 and March 2026 slid two points to 1,615.0 and 1,594.5, respectively, while December 2025 eased by one point to 1,614.0.
Turnover soared to 78,596 lots from 38,230 lots on Tuesday, while open interest rose to 125,674 contracts from 84,115 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slipped 2.02 points to 1,611.54 from yesterday’s close of 1,613.56.
