Hytera Unveils P60 Smart PoC Radio At GITEX GLOBAL 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Hytera, a global provider of professional communications technologies and solutions, has launched its latest P60 Smart Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) Radio at GITEX GLOBAL 2025.

Integrating intelligence, reliability and rugged design, the P60 is designed to enhance connectivity for professionals in public safety, security, utilities and transportation sectors.

Hytera Broadband Terminals Product Manager, Rain Rao said the P60 is more than just another PoC radio; it is a communication companion that adapts to every mission.

“From intuitive interaction to rugged reliability, we built the P60 to serve professionals who need both intelligence and trustworthiness in one device,” said Rao in a statement.

Built to mission-critical (MCX) standards, the device delivers prioritised voice, video and data communications with ultra-low latency. It supports dual nano-SIM, eSIM and WLAN connections, while intelligent network switching ensures users maintain the strongest possible signal.

The P60 also features a three-watt speaker with 105 decibels (dB) output and artificial intelligence-powered noise cancellation to deliver clear, intelligible audio in noisy or high-speed environments.

For field documentation, the device doubles as a professional recording tool. Its slide-to-record function activates the 50-megapixel rear camera instantly, while a pre-record feature captures the preceding 120 seconds of video to ensure critical moments are not missed.

Captured footage can be uploaded to the Hytera Digital Evidence Management (DEM) platform for centralised review and archiving, enhancing operational transparency and accountability.

Designed for intuitive operation, the P60 features a 3.5-inch high-brightness touchscreen responsive to gloves and wet conditions, along with programmable keys and a rotary knob for quick access to essential functions.

Powered by a 4,000 milliampere-hour (mAh) removable battery, the radio supports up to 24 hours of continuous operation. It also offers chip-level power management to optimise efficiency and is rated IP68 for resistance to dust, water and accidental drops.
