Uni-Fuels Opens First Europe Office In Cyprus

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 (Bernama) -- Uni-Fuels Holdings Limited (Uni-Fuels), a global provider of marine fuel solutions, has opened a new office in Limassol, Cyprus, marking its first establishment in Europe.

The move underscores the Singapore-headquartered company’s commitment to expanding its international footprint and strengthening connections with customers across the European markets.

In a statement, Uni-Fuels said the Limassol office complements the company’s recently opened branches in Dubai and Shanghai, representing a key milestone in its ongoing global expansion strategy.

Through its growing network, Uni-Fuels aims to enhance operational agility, provide localised expertise, and ensure reliable fuel delivery across high-demand maritime corridors.

“Our new Limassol office highlights our ethos of being closer to our customers and major trading hubs, where proximity to partners and key shipping routes matters,” said Uni-Fuels Senior Vice President of Commercial, Alan Tan.

He said the Mediterranean’s strategic location and evolving energy infrastructure provide a strong platform for delivering innovative, reliable and cost-effective fuel solutions while diversifying suppliers and reinforcing supply resilience.

“They provide on-site expertise, round-the-clock assistance and operational support to help customers navigate the dynamic business landscape while optimising performance,” he said.

The company’s presence in Limassol will provide closer access to local price trends, regulatory developments and supply chain shifts, enabling more responsive pricing strategies and flexible procurement solutions for customers.

Cyprus also serves as a gateway between traditional fuel markets and emerging green shipping corridors. Uni-Fuels, certified to supply alternative fuels, plans to coordinate low-emission sourcing strategies aligned with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.

With its new European base, Uni-Fuels reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the maritime industry with efficient, sustainable fuel solutions and driving operational excellence worldwide.
