CME Globex Platform Restored, Derivatives Trading To Resume On Monday - Bursa Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia Bhd is preparing for the resumption of all derivKatives trading on Dec 1 as per normal market trading hours.

In a statement today, the exchange said this follows the restoration of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group’s Globex electronic trading platform by 9 pm today, Malaysian time.

Earlier, Bursa Malaysia said the trading of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives’ products on the Globex system would not resume today following an outage on Globex, which facilitates global derivatives trading.

It added that settlement of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives’ contracts continued as normal throughout the day.
