FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives finished lower today, tracking the cash market performance.

At the close, the December 2025 contract slid 10.5 points to 1,609.5, January 2026 dipped 11 points to 1,613.0, March 2026 dropped 9.5 points to 1,596.5, and June 2026 slid 10 points to 1,600.0.

Turnover rose to 11,489 lots from 8,010 lots on Friday, while open interest increased to 46,953 contracts versus 43,890 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 3.74 points, or 0.23 per cent, to 1,612.78 from last Friday’s close of 1,616.52.
