FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, in line with the positive performance of the cash market.

At the close, the December 2025 contract rose 17 points to 1,629.0, January 2026 jumped 16.5 points to 1,632.0, March 2026 surged 17.5 points to 1,615.5, and June 2026 climbed 13.5 points to 1,618.0.

Turnover increased to 7,790 lots from 5,805 lots on Wednesday, while open interest rose to 43,756 contracts versus 42,312 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI gained 14.39 points, or 0.89 per cent, to 1,625.39 from Wednesday’s close of 1,611.00.
