FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.

At the close, the December 2025 contract slid 5.5 points to 1,639.5, January 2026 shaved 5.5 points to 1,642.0, March 2026 eased 6.5 points to 1,625.5, and June 2026 slipped 3.5 points to 1,628.5.

Turnover decreased to 5,068 lots from 7,158 last Friday, while open interest receded to 41,488 contracts versus 43,035 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 5.91 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 1,643.72 from Friday's close of 1,637.81.
