KLCI Futures Open Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts were mostly higher in early trade today.

At 9.20 am, the December 2025 contract rose 0.5 of-a-point to 1,679.5, January 2026 added 1.0 point to 1,684.0, March 2026 lost 1.0 point to 1,667.5, and June 2026 rose 1.5 points to 1,670.0.

Turnover stood at 1,225 lots, with open interest at 39,151 contracts.

Meanwhile, the benchmark FBM KLCI fell 7.88 points to 1,676.65 after 40 minutes of trading, compared with Tuesday’s close of 1,684.53.
