KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed firmer on Monday, tracking the underlying cash market.

At the close, the January 2026 contract rose 11.0 points to 1,683.5, February 2026 added 12.0 points to 1,687.5, March 2026 advanced 10.5 points to 1,668.5, and June 2026 earned 8.5 points to 1,670.50.

Turnover rose to 7,904 lots from 5,344 lots last Friday, while open interest improved to 40,750 contracts from 38,653 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) advanced 10.56 points to 1,680.32 from Friday’s close of 1,669.76.
