KLCI Futures End Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly higher on Wednesday. 

At the close, the January 2026 and March 2026 contracts gained 4.0 points each to 1,678.0 and 1,663.0, respectively, February 2026 rose 5.0 points to 1,682.05, while June 2026 fell 1.0 point to 1,663.0.

Turnover fell to 5,764 lots from 6,899 lots yesterday, while open interest declined to 39,304 contracts from 40,130 contracts yesterday. 

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) advanced 4.48 points to 1,676.83 from Tuesday’s close of 1,672.35.
