FBM KLCI Futures Open Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 (Bernama) -- FBM KLCI futures opened higher in early trade on Monday, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

At 9.45 am, the January 2026 contract rose 8.5 points to 1,693.5, February 2026 gained 9.0 points to 1,697.0 and March 2026 added 7.5 points to 1,677.5. The June 2026 contract was untraded at 1,670.5.

Turnover stood at 1,629 lots, while open interest totalled 35,555 contracts.

The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI climbed 2.55 points to 1,689.09 after 50 minutes of trading, compared with last Friday’s close of 1,686.54.
