Efinity Powers Launch Of PRISM MGA In Singapore, Hong Kong

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 (Bernama) -- Efinity, a software provider for insurance distribution and operations, announced it is powering the launch of PRISM, a newly established managing general agent (MGA) with operations in Singapore and Hong Kong.

PRISM was founded by industry veteran Bobby Heerasing, together with co-founders Sergei Korol and Jason Smith. The MGA has been designed to operate without legacy systems, enabling scalable growth, real-time transparency, and disciplined underwriting from inception.

“PRISM demonstrates how modern MGAs can be formed and scaled when technology and operations are embedded at launch.

“Our platform enables underwriting teams to focus on portfolio performance and broker relationships while maintaining the transparency and control demanded by today's markets,” said Efinity chief executive officer (CEO), Maciej Bud-Gusaim.

Meanwhile, Heerasing, who is also PRISM CEO, said PRISM has intentionally set out to launch with modern infrastructure from day one.

“Efinity’s platform provides the operational control, data visibility, and scalability needed to support disciplined underwriting while responding quickly to market changes,” he said.

In a statement, Efinity said it provides PRISM with an integrated operating platform covering submission intake, digital underwriting workflows, policy issuance, financial and bordereaux management, and real-time portfolio analytics.

The platform enables PRISM to meet reporting and governance requirements of capacity providers while supporting expansion across products and geographies.

The launch of PRISM reflects its broader strategy to modernise insurance distribution by enabling MGAs and carriers to operate on unified, data-driven platforms, accelerating market entry while improving scalability, transparency, and operational performance.
